Venue: The Venue from the outside almost blends in with the houses around it, but the sign on the front is easily noticed. Past the reception desk you enter the locker rooms, where the lockers are not large but sufficient for clothes and a backpack or purse. The showers are few but very functional, and there is a special shower at the right height for private parts, all kept well and clean. The main room with the bar has a modern style, sofas and stools, all finished in leather and tending to red, which together with the blue and purple lights around the bar help give color to the environment. The wellness area consists of saunas, whirlpool, relaxation area, and a massage service (for a fee). Then there is the classic Kino and a TV in the bar room where you can watch sporting events. Bordering the outdoor area is a veranda, or rather, a large enclosed area but with glass walls and ceiling and therefore well lit and equipped with sun loungers, chairs, and small tables, which overlooks the outdoor garden where we find the swimming pool surrounded by sun beds, umbrellas, and palm trees. The garden also houses a kind of the most sheltered alcoves for those who want to seclude themselves in the sun, the outdoor environment is pleasant and functional. Then there are the rooms, devoid of shower but comfortable, and finally the dining room, but there are also tables outside for the summer time.
Girls: about 20 girls, ages 18 to 38, of various nationalities, from Brazil to Colombia, plus the ever-present draculine made in Romania and a notable representation from Bulgaria and other neighboring countries. Aesthetically, too, there is a good mix, ranging from the classic 20-year-old “model” from the East to the South American “milf” who could be her mother, and everything in between. General quiet but active attitude, the girls don’t bother the customers who want to relax, but are available for social time that is almost always pleasant and not rushed, although we are still talking about working harlots.
Prices: Admission 70€ (the base price is 70 but there are numerous options, such as admission for 60€ after 9 pm or until 2 pm if happy hour is on, and on one’s birthday the cost is 40€ by presenting an ID, find the full price list in the image next door, or below if from a smartphone). –
Opening Hours: Daily from 11:00 a.m. to midnight – Friday and Saturday open until 1:00 a.m.
Restaurant/Bar: The brunch buffet in the dining room is not excellent but is quite varied, meat, vegetables, cold and hot dishes, side dishes, fruit, desserts. Grilled meat for dinner on Mondays and Thursdays and Barbecue evening on weekends on occasion in summer time. – Non-alcoholic drinks and draft beer included in the price of admission, spirits and cocktails are charged separately. Self-service water and coffee in the dining room.
Notes: The Babylon in Elsdorf(not to be confused with the Babylons in Klagenfurt and Vienna, which are of an entirely different category) is by no means a luxury club, but in its simplicity it is very well maintained and offers various facilities for spending a day even in winter, in fact the outdoor area is partly enclosed by glass windows so that it can be used even in the cold season, the rest is a pleasant garden with a swimming pool, sun loungers and mats, there are also more ambush niches among the plants for those seeking some privacy, so it is even more enjoyable in summer. Inside, however, there is a whirlpool, saunas, massage service, and TV in the lounge for those who want to follow sports between “rooms.” Then there is the bar and lounge where most of the social time with the girls takes place. The Babylon can be reached in about 35 minutes by car from Koln Airport (Cologne, Germany) and less than an hour from Dusseldorf Airport. The Venue is located on a road that divides the small industrial area of Elsdorf from the town center. Technically you could also get there by Train + Bus from the airport, there are a couple of stops within a two-minute walk from the Venue, but it takes at least an hour and a half to get there and it is complicated, especially for the return journey, because after 8:30 p.m. there are no more train connections and you will have to take a cab back. The ideal is to get a rental car at the airport, and a room at the hotel, also in the airport area, then drive to Elsdorf, partly because the drive is relatively short and quiet. Of course, one of the Venue’s strengths is the price list (visible at the front desk) of services offered by sex-workers. The 60 euros for the half-hour is good, and for those who like to take things slow the 50 euros for the half-hour after the first are excellent, plus there is not the annoying upward trend found in many saunaclubs, everything is clear and well defined, apart from any extra services on request, those have to be agreed beforehand with the individual sex-workers, but that is normal. The other plus points of this Babylon are the Girls, not all of whom are excellent and not so many, with a handful of young beads and the rest being an “all fruit salad,” some may not like it but you can always find something good, and then they are always all in Total Naked.
Bottom Line: The environment is suitable for relaxation but lively and animated enough, the number of patrons is generally proportionate to the number of trades, there are some regulars but there is room for those passing through. Best in summer because the outdoor area is more than pleasant (also for “secluding” outdoors with the ladies if you like), perhaps unsuitable for a full day in winter but for an evening or afternoon is fine even in the cold months. Also recommended for a dedicated outing if you can find a good cheap flight to Cologne or Dusseldorf (the difference in practical terms is small, about twenty minutes more drive from Dusseldorf). There are several alternatives close to both cities, but the Babylon in Elsdorf is a nice little place with excellent value for money. …Your choice.
