LANGUAGE: Switzerland has four official languages. The most widely spoken is German, followed by French and Italian. It is common for Swiss people to be fluent in two or more of these languages. Then there is Romansh, which is very similar to the Friulian dialect. Although recognized as the fourth official language, it is spoken by only a few tens of thousands of inhabitants (about 0.5% of the population).

DOCUMENTS: For citizens of the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway, a valid identity document (passport or identity card) is sufficient. For most other countries, a visa is required only for stays longer than 90 days.

A strong economy, an extremely efficient transportation network, and a strong tourist appeal due to numerous famous ski resorts as well as places like Lugano and Locarno, all contribute to a thriving market for paid sex and related services.
