Venue: Club Zeus is located in Küssnacht am Rigi, in the canton of Schwyz, in central Switzerland, a short distance from Lucerne and Lake Lucerne. The location is easy to reach by car, just a few minutes from the motorway exit, in a small, quiet industrial area surrounded by greenery.
It is not just a bar disguised as an FKK club, but a proper wellness-style venue: spacious, complete, enjoyable, and spread over three floors.
On the lower level is the entrance, and after reception, on the first floor, you find the changing room, with showers and bathrooms. Here, unlike in other similar venues such as Club Palace, the men’s changing room is clearly separate from the girls’ changing room, so you miss out on the pleasant “panoramic view” offered by a changing area adjacent to the women’s one. That said, this is the norm in most playground-style clubs.
Also on the first floor is the pool area. There is a smaller whirlpool tub, unfortunately not working at the moment, which has the advantage of being in an interesting position with respect to the passage of the girls coming and going from their changing room. Then there is the large pool: round, heated, and roughly chest-deep, big enough to stretch out, float, and splash around a little. This area is mainly used by male customers, but it is possible to have the company of the girls in the water on request, often with a small tip expected for the trouble.
The main bar/stage/lounge area is very spacious. The stage is large and clearly visible, with several sofas arranged around it; the venue then extends further with additional sofas in a slightly more secluded area. On the other side of the stage, a glass wall separates the smoking room, which also has sofas. The layout works well: in the rest of the club, the smell of smoke is barely noticeable, while the fumoir remains integrated and visible, not a smokers’ aquarium relegated to punishment. In fact, it was often one of the liveliest areas, with men and girls socialising, negotiating, flirting, or simply wasting time in the noble art of doing nothing.
On the second floor is the sauna area, more showers, a few loungers in a quiet and bright relaxation area, a cold-water dispenser, and towels available for use. It is a real wellness area, where you can easily spend time between one room session and another during the day.
Also on the second floor is the dining room, spacious and bright, with around thirty seats. Adjacent to the main room there is also an outdoor terrace, partly covered like a veranda, useful especially in good weather for having a drink, smoking, or getting some fresh air.
The rooms, located on the first floor, are minimal but pleasant, equipped with mirrors and a bathtub, and sufficiently intimate. There is also a VIP room, but it comes at an additional cost.
Smoking is not allowed inside the venue, but there is a smoking room, and the terrace can be used when the weather allows it.
Girls: 10 to 25 girls depending on the day, time, and events. The line-up consists mainly of Eastern European girls, especially from Romania, Hungary, and surrounding countries, with a few Latin or Italian presences.
Apart from the inevitable exceptions, the selection is fairly well curated and the attitude is generally good. The girls tend to be available and fairly interactive, while aggressive approaches are rare.
Prices: Entry is 49 CHF and includes access to the wellness area, buffet, and soft drinks. There is also an evening entry from 8:00 p.m. for 30 CHF, but this is limited to the disco/bar area and does not include access to the wellness facilities.
Room service rates with a girl: 140 CHF for 30 minutes, 210 CHF for 45 minutes, and 280 CHF for 60 minutes. The service also includes FK and BBJ.
There are always discounted packages available combining entry + half an hour, paid in advance at the entrance: 1 x 30 min. for 110 CHF, 2 x 30 min. for 210 CHF, and 3 x 30 min. for 299 CHF.
Opening hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. Friday and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m. Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to midnight.
Restaurant/Bar: Buffet-style restaurant. Barbecues are organised during events and in the summer season. Soft drinks are included in the entrance fee.
Notes: Club Zeus has been active since 1996 and, despite its ups and downs over the years, it remains an established presence in the area. It is located about 15 kilometres from Lucerne, Switzerland, and can be reached in around an hour and a half by public transport or 45 minutes by car from Zurich Airport.
The venue is set up like a proper sauna club, with large indoor spaces, a pool, saunas, a relaxation area, a bar room with a stage and numerous lounging areas, a terrace, food service, and rooms suited to the purpose.
The overall atmosphere is good, as is the food in the restaurant, where the menu changes throughout the week with various daily dishes and meat barbecues when the weather is nice.
As for entertainment, there are girl shows on the stages during the day, as well as various events and themed evenings throughout the week, such as bingo with 30 minutes with a girl as the prize, Sunday brunch with entertainment, topless or total naked days, special parties, and DJ sets on weekends.
In short: Zeus is a good destination for anyone in central Switzerland, around Lucerne, and it is also relatively convenient from Zurich for those who want a change of scene from the usual, better-known Swiss clubs.
It may not be the most spectacular or prestigious club, but it is quite large and offers a good atmosphere. It has all the useful facilities for spending a relaxing day, an above-average line-up with generally good-level performances, and prices that, considering the packages and promotions, are overall fairly convenient by Swiss standards.
