Venue: It is located between the Gheisha and the Butterflies, but it is decidedly smaller and more intimate, with a layout different from the other Go-Go bars in Nana Plaza. The atmosphere is more chill and less chaotic—at least in intention—while still being carefully designed with attention to detail. The name OnTop comes from the large wall screens that display city skylines like Bangkok, New York, and Tokyo. Thanks to the LED lighting and immersive projections, it really feels like being “on top of the world” without leaving Nana Plaza.
The venue can accommodate around 40 people. There are island-style sofas and semi-private seating areas, with a small central stage where about ten dancers perform at a time. Near the bar and around the stage, there are stools; the lighting system and sound system are of high quality. The venue has been designed to provide good visibility of the stage and the rest of the room from every seat.
Girls: Currently, there are about 15–20 girls. Some are “old acquaintances” from the Billboard, while others are newcomers who are not particularly impressive. The floor staff and mamasans show experience and professionalism. Overall, the quality of the girls is still developing and falls short of the expectations for a venue owned by the same proprietors as Billboard and Butterflies.
Prices: Non-alcoholic drinks: from 180 Baht – Alcoholic drinks: from 210 Baht – Lady drinks: 250 Baht (among the highest in Nana Plaza) – Barfine: 800 Baht – Short time: from 4,000 Baht
Prices are higher than the average in Nana Plaza and are hardly justified by the size of the venue and the number of dancers present.
Opening hours: Every evening from 8:00 PM until late at night.
Restaurant/Bar: Good service, classic Go Go Bar menu, Beers, Tequila, Whiskey, Cocktails etc…
Notes: On Top Bangkok opened in January 2025 as the most recent project from the team behind Billboard and Butterflies. On Top Bangkok may look like a VIP lounge, but everyone is welcome. It’s a place to relax, have a drink, and enjoy yourself without the “big bar” feel. The atmosphere is more laid-back compared to traditional go-go bars, with a lounge touch and LED lighting that makes the space elegant and welcoming. If you’re looking for something more intimate and personal, this is the right place.
In Short: A young and promising venue, with carefully designed décor and a lounge atmosphere. The number of dancers is still small, and their quality does not yet meet the expectations of more experienced visitors. Prices are higher than the Nana Plaza average. It may be worth visiting for a more intimate and VIP experience, but it is not yet a top choice.
