ADELPHI PATTAYA HOTEL

Location: Adelphi Pattaya Hotel is strategically located for those who want to enjoy Pattaya’s Night Life without moving too much, in fact it is only a 5-minute walk from LK Metro / Tree Town in Chaloen Phrakiat 21 Alley, an absolutely quiet side street three steps away from the city’s most party district. The hotel is exactly 1 km from Beach Road and 1.5 km from Soi 6(a 20-minute walk, which can be solved with a motorcycle cab in 5 minutes). If, on the other hand, you want to get to Walking Street (2.5 km away), simply go to the right as soon as you leave the hotel and walk 200 m to Pattaya 3rd Road where the Songthaew passes by (or simply take a moto-taxi, or as the Thais call them “motosai,” which are always present almost in front of the Hotel at all hours of the day and night).

Room: Deluxe Rooms with Balcony (34 m²) are spacious and comfortable, there is a desk with comfortable upholstered chair, a larger than average refrigerator, a corner with bench and “smoking table,” closet with sufficient shelves and drawers for storing everything, and of course a comfortable bed of generous size. The furniture is modern, the balcony is small but equipped with a small table and chairs. Towels always cleaned daily, bathrobes and slippers included and a complete set for personal hygiene. Very extensive housekeeping hours until mid-afternoon. Two bottles of water every day and the usual set with everything you need to make Tea/Coffee. There are other types of rooms, the Deluxe which is the same but without balcony and is similar in price as well, the Premier Double Room, which is like the Deluxe with Balcony but slightly more spacious at a slightly higher price, and the 85 sq. m. Duplex arranged on two levels, with sitting room, a larger balcony, and practically a second room in the attic, in this case the price also doubles. The rooms, as well as all other rooms, are clean and well-maintained.

Bathroom: Bathrooms are large enough and proportionate to the rooms, modern design, clean lines and subdued colors with elegant finishes, large shower stall, hair dryer and so on.

Facilities: There is a nice pool on the roof, not huge but very nice, with cascading water jets and gradual depth. There is also a small fitness room with equipment. Free Wi-Fi with good reception even at the pool. Covered garage in the basement. Of course, each room is also equipped with air conditioning and a medium-sized refrigerator(larger than classic hotel minibars).

Cleaning: The cleaning staff is active from the early hours of the day until four o’clock in the afternoon and beyond. Always courteous and efficient, the cleaners do a good job. Toilet paper and tissues in the bathroom always present. Towels and linens are changed daily. Everything turns out tidy and smells clean.

Prices: Room prices start from about 1500 THB and go up to 1900 THB (about 40 to 50 Euro), except for the 85 sq. m. “Duplex” which has two rooms and costs about 3000 THB per night(in any case with Agoda it is possible to save money, there are often good deals, and by creating an account there is always a minimum discount of 10% for the first two reservations, as well as the AgodaVIP program which increases in level based on the reservations made with your account and offers discounts of up to 25%).

Note: The Adelphi Hotel is absolutely Guest Friendly so you can bring a girl, or whoever you want, to your room at no extra charge, however, the guest must leave an ID at the front desk and if they are not escorted out by the person whose room is registered to them the staff will make a call to make sure everything is okay before returning the ID to the guest, and it is a very good customer protection policy (technically it is possible to bypass the front desk from the garage, but in my humble opinion it makes little sense, since having your ID left at the front desk is a way to protect yourself in case of unforeseen events, especially when you bring a girl you met a few hours earlier in a bar to your room, usually there are no problems with young ladies, but you never know). Check In and Check Out averagely fast and with flexible hours based on room availability (e.g. if you arrive an hour before the scheduled Check In time and the room is free they will not make you wait for no reason. The pool is quite large and never crowded, clean towels always available. Smoking is prohibited in the facility except on the balcony(present in almost all room types but not all, so choose the right one if you need a balcony) and in the area around the pool. The only small negative note is the fact that to reach the entrance you have to climb 10 steps, nothing insurmountable of course, but for someone it might be annoying and it seems fair to mention it(in some photos on the various sites you can see the facade with two staircases and two entrances, that is the old version, since 2022 the current facade of the hotel is the one with only one staircase on the right).

Basically Adelphi Pattaya Hotel is in a very good location for nightlife in the LK Metro / Tree Town area, in a rather quiet side street but within walking distance of everything you need. The staff is super efficient, absolutely helpful and attentive to guests. There is always good background music in the lobby, often jazz, which gives a special atmosphere to the environment already upon entering the reception. The good value for money makes it ideal for those looking for a facility with all the amenities without spending too much. However, if you prefer to stay in other areas of Pattaya, such as on the waterfront towards the infamous Soi 6 or near Walking Street take a look at the list of other GuestFriendly Hotels in Pattaya.
