TheMarch News comes at the end of the month and with few “News” but several new items, so it will be a short but intense read.
For reasons I honestly don’t know, the month of March has always been among the least intense of the year as far as “trolling” activities are concerned, or at least it is for yours truly myself the Editor. That is the case in this 2025 as well, but as far as TravelsForMen.com is concerned I have some news to announce, however, first I will spend a few words summarizing these last few weeks.
Since my main job is taking up most of my free time, or at any rate more than usual, I have not been able to do many of the things I wanted to, such as expanding the Hotel section of the site or adding the tabs for more Nana Plaza Go Bars(but they will be coming soon, I hope). Instead, I found the time to add the German Sky SaunaClub in Wuppertal and to update in its entirety the Paradise tab in Graz, which for no particular reason had been unchanged even since 2016 if memory serves, you will also find it featured on the main page of the site (and you will understand why shortly).
In the next few days(in a couple of weeks, let’s say) the review forms of at least two other Venues from Germany and Switzerland will also arrive, but I don’t want to spoil the surprise for you so I won’t make any advances on them, also because one I will be visiting shortly and even if I wanted to I couldn’t say much about it, but I will let you know how it is.
In the meantime you may have noticed the article titled Bangkok: “BJ Bars and Where to Find Them,” which I had been working on for a while, I won’t tell you how much time it took me, but I am glad I finally managed to finish it and I feel I did a good job, I hope you enjoy it and especially that it is useful to identify the best “Blowjobs” in the capital, but also to know some Venues little known to the general public. For some such as VOVO and 7-HEAVEN(which are among my favorites) you can also find review cards, others, for example Kasalong or Wood Bar I have mentioned them several times in some travel stories you can find in the Blog, but in order not to miss anything I have included the essential useful info for all the Venues in the article so that you can have an idea of what to expect if you decide to visit them. If someday I have the time I will include them in the reviews, but just for a whim of completeness.
Last-minute news, on the other hand, is the earthquake with epicenter in Myanmar(where deaths and injuries number in the thousands) that also affected much of Thailand where it caused damage here and there but almost nothing tragic. At the moment the most serious incident in the capital was the collapse of a skyscraper under construction in the area of the famous Chatuchak Market, which is estimated to have caused several dozen deaths and as many injuries, mostly construction site workers and passersby in the surrounding area who were hit by debris and dust from the building’s collapse. Otherwise, resident contacts in Bangkok and Pattaya at the time reported a few damaged buildings, several businesses closed mostly as a precautionary measure, and some fear, so a general alert situation but all in all quite calm. Hoping it was an isolated case we wish a speedy recovery and a quick return to normalcy for “the land of smiles,” not least because for everything else there is little we can do.
But going back to more futile and less gloomy topics, lately there is a situation of vague desolation in many Swiss Venues, particularly the well-known Maxim Club in Chiasso, but also other lesser-known shores.Unfortunately, I have not had the time to delve into this topic, so we will talk about it in the near future depending on how the issue evolves.
Last but not Least (last but not least), I officially announce the birth of the TravelsForMen Youtube channel, where you will find reviews in a different format than usual, maybe less detailed but more enjoyable, dare I say. Of course it is a newly born project and therefore improvable, some videos are already present, like the one dedicated just to the Paradise of Graz, so I invite you to watch them and subscribe to the channel so you can leave comments and advice, but also criticism, and stay updated on new content that will come. Perhaps for long-time users, who have already read the reviews here on the site, those in the videos will be redundant information, nevertheless you might like to meet my two assistants “YUKI” and “SORAYA.” I won’t add more so as not to spoil the surprise (positive or negative you will decide), but it is something I have been working on for months and I hope you will at least like the idea^^.
So, that’s all for these somewhat peculiar March News, all that’s left is for me to wish you fun and many good adventures as usual(because you never know when a skyscraper may come crashing down on your head, right?).
…See you soon Dear Traveling Friends!
