Bangkok: BJ Bars and Where to Find Them

Whatever you choose to call them, so-called BJ bars are fairly common in Thailand. However, this does not mean that these establishments are equally easy to find. Not all venues of this kind display explicit signs, and many are located in out-of-the-way areas. Others, by contrast, are so visible that they blend in with surrounding businesses, such as massage parlours, ordinary bars, or other types of clubs.
Bangkok is undoubtedly the city with the widest and most varied range of these services. Given the interest surrounding these unusual places of relaxation and pleasure, we will take a closer look at what they offer, how they operate, how much they cost, and, above all, where to find them in the Thai capital.

⇒ What is a BJ Bar?

Blowjob bars originated in Thailand several decades ago as simple bars where, along with a beer, customers could also receive oral sex from the woman serving them. This practice has now almost disappeared—or, more accurately, evolved. Although some establishments still use the term “BJ Bar” they are essentially dedicated oral-sex venues, sometimes referred to by English speakers as “Pump Stations,” a play on “pumping station.”
At these establishments, the main service provided is fellatio—also known by countless slang terms and euphemisms. “Pump Station” and “BJ Salon” are simply different names for the same type of business. They are a well-established feature of the “Land of Smiles,” but can also be found in the Philippines, Vietnam, and other Southeast Asian countries.
Some have an internal bar service, while others do not. Some even offer “full service” in addition to oral sex. In Japan, meanwhile, Pink Salons are very common. They essentially provide the same service, but generally place greater emphasis on privacy and offer several variations.
This type of establishment has therefore also been exported to other countries, mainly to cater to Japanese customers, as can be seen in Bangkok’s Japanese districts. On average, these venues tend to offer a higher standard in terms of the appearance of the staff and the range of available services. Consequently, their prices are also generally higher than those of traditional Thai BJ bars.

⇒ How do these places work?

No matter how different they may be in terms of offerings and environments, in every BJ Bar, Pink Salon, or Pump Station, the ultimate purpose is always the same, and some procedures are identical or very similar, following a basic routine.

• Choosing the Girls:
  Once inside, you are welcomed at the reception or another designated area to proceed with selecting the worker who will provide the service. This can be done by browsing photos available on a tablet or by seeing the girls in person, who will line up like contestants in a beauty pageant, with you as the sole judge deciding the winner.
  In some long-established Pump Stations, the practice of choosing the workers even before entering still exists, as they usually stand outside trying to attract passing travelers.
  As for the few BJ Bars that still actually have a bar, it’s possible to chat briefly with the ladies before making your choice for the actual service.

• Choosing the service: All modern BJ Bars and Pink Salons offer options for every preference and personal taste.
  Besides the basic blowjob service, where available, you may have the choice of themed rooms, having the worker wear specific clothing or accessories—or nothing at all. You can be served by two or three girls at the same time, and so on. There are many variables, and not all venues offer the same things. Some, usually the older establishments, provide only the basic service, which itself doesn’t have a uniform standard and varies from place to place. For example, in some Pink Salons, the girl will remain topless with the base rate, while in others that is considered an extra. The service duration generally ranges from thirty to forty minutes but depends on the house rules, and so forth.

• Payment:
  In any BJ Bar, Pink Salon, or similar venue, payment is made directly at the reception immediately after making your selections and before receiving the service. (You never pay the worker directly unless she is the only one present, which usually does not happen in establishments specialized in this service.)
  Prices for a basic blowjob typically range between 700 and 1400 Baht, to which any extras chosen from the menu are added.

• The Service: After choosing the girl you prefer and any additional extras, you will be escorted to the room or the designated “spot” for the blowjob.
  In many Japanese-style Pink Salons, you are asked to take off your shoes and sometimes wear slippers before moving to the room.Usually, in newer venues dedicated exclusively to this practice, you’ll find regular rooms and themed rooms, either fully enclosed or with walls that don’t reach the ceiling. These rooms often have a bed or sofa but are still comfortable and offer good privacy.
  In contrast, in older BJ Bars or BJ Salons, it’s common to find simple sofas separated by curtains or small “closet-like” rooms.). Once you arrive in the room, you undress, and the worker will take care of washing the intimate areas. You’ll notice there is always a sink with a handheld shower (except in the old BJ Bars where the service was offered “under the counter” with very minimal, if any, cleaning of the relevant area—fortunately, this practice is now almost extinct and survives only in a few old establishments).
  After washing, you will be invited to lie down or sit, depending on the type of furniture available. At that point, the worker will undress herself according to the house rules and any extras selected. She will then begin performing the oral service until completion.
  During the service, it is generally possible to touch the worker’s breasts and other parts of her body if allowed or approved by her.
  Naturally, the blowjob is performed “bareback,” meaning without protection, so ejaculation usually happens in the girl’s mouth (CIM), but not always.

• Post-Service and Tip:
  After the service you paid for is completed, you are given a moment to relax and enjoy the afterglow while the worker performs the necessary oral rinsing with mouthwash. She will then carefully wash and dry herself again before inviting you to get dressed to leave.

  Once you leave the room, the service is over, and you will be escorted back to the reception area to exit the premises the way you came in.
  In the case of older BJ Bars or some Pump Stations, you may be able to stay for a drink inside or outside the venue if you wish.

There are numerous variations to suit all budgets and tastes, and it would be impossible to mention the details of every single venue. But broadly speaking, this is how they operate.
Now, let’s take a look at the most well-known and suitable Blowjob Bars in Bangkok for a Farang seeking relaxation in the capital.

⇒ Where to Find Them?

• 7-HEAVEN – Soi Sukhumvit 33 (Phrom Phong): Japanese-style BJ/Pink Salon. The girls are very attractive. The atmosphere is pleasant, understated, and air-conditioned. Rooms have folding doors, are not soundproofed, and are equipped with a fan, a coat rack, and a sink; some have wood paneling, others do not. • VOVO – Soi Sukhumvit 33 (Phrom Phong): A Japanese-style BJ/Pink Salon with themed rooms. The girls are attractive. The atmosphere is spacious, welcoming, and modern. There are themed “VIP” rooms with various settings, as well as smaller “regular” rooms with a simple sofa, all equipped with a sink and air conditioning. Service in the “VIP” rooms takes place on a massage table or armchair and/or chairs, a desk, school desks, etc., depending on the setting (classroom, infirmary, office), or on the sofa in the “regular” rooms. Base Rate: 1,400 baht for 30 minutes in a standard room with the girl fully clothed. • WOOD BAR – Soi Sukhumviti 7/1 (Nana): A long-standing BJ Bar/Pump Station. The girls’ looks range from decent to good. The setting is spartan, featuring a bar and a small outdoor area with tables and chairs facing Soi 7/1; blowjob services take place in designated rooms upstairs. The rooms are “closet-style”—very small and bare but equipped with a comfortable leather armchair and a standard sink. The service is performed while seated in the armchair, with the attendant kneeling between your legs with her breasts exposed. • THE PIXIES (formerly Lacha869, previously Madam Claude) – Soi Sukhumvit 26 (Phrom Phong): BJ Salon + Massage, expensive but stylish. The girls’ looks range from decent to fairly attractive. The venue has a “premium” atmosphere despite being converted from a normal house, with carefully designed classic French/European-style décor that makes it very welcoming. The rooms are a good size and stylishly furnished, with parquet flooring. Given the hybrid nature of the venue, the rooms may include a shower or bathtub, bed or sofa, mirrors, armchairs, etc. The basic Blowjob service is generally provided in rooms with a sofa, although this may vary depending on availability at the time. Basic Blowjob rate: 1,400 Baht for 30 minutes. There are numerous extras available on the menu, but considering that this is also a massage venue, it is worth deciding whether to add options to the Blowjob-only service or simply go directly for a Full Service Massage. The basic rate is still a valid option for anyone looking for a pleasant setting to go along with the actual service. Where to Find It: 25/20 Soi Sukhumvit 26, Khlong Tan, Khlong Toei, Bangkok 10110, Thailand. Entering Soi 26 (Soi Ari) from Sukhumvit Road, continue for about 170 meters along the left side of the street. After passing the Don Quixote building, turn left into the alley. After about ten meters, go through the large gate and you will find the entrance to Pixies Massage on the left. From the outside it looks like an ordinary house, although you can spot the signs bearing the venue’s name. It offers both services: Massage or a simple Blowjob.

• LOLITAS – Soi Sukhumvit 8 / Pedestrian passage to Soi 6 (Nana): Historic Bangkok Pump Station/BJ Bar, currently in decline. The operators’ looks are acceptable, with some reservations. The average age is well over 35, although this is partly compensated for by experience. The venue is air-conditioned and certainly “characterful,” but also very dated. It clearly shows its age, just like the “girls” who wait outside by the entrance wearing their distinctive schoolgirl-style uniforms—although they are very much past school age. The main “Blowjob Room” contains several sofas positioned very close to one another, with privacy provided only by divider curtains that are closed around each sofa. The service takes place on one of these sofas. Basic rate: 800 Baht until completion. Full Service is also available for 1,700 Baht. Where to Find It: 4/30 Soi Sukhumvit 8, Khlong Toei, Bangkok 10110, Thailand. From Sukhumvit Road, enter Soi Sukhumvit 8 and continue for around 80 meters, passing the first alley where Vesuvio pizzeria is located. A little farther on, just before a 7-Eleven, there is another alley. Turn right into this alley and Lolitas will be clearly visible on the left, just a few meters from the entrance. Continuing past Lolitas, there is an almost hidden pedestrian passage connecting to Soi 6, which brings you out near Kasalong. For access from Soi 6, see the directions for Kasalong.

• KASALONG – Soi Sukhumvit 6 / Pedestrian passage to Soi 8 (Nana):
  An alternative BJ Bar/Pump Station to the nearby Lolitas. The aesthetic level of the girls is variable, ranging from poor to vaguely pleasant (almost all of them sit outside the entrance, so it’s best to pass by and see who’s there).
  The venue is somewhat shabby and shows its age. The small rooms are basically all the same — small and basic (but not as claustrophobic as the “closet”-style rooms at Wood Bar) — equipped with a sink, a coat hanger, a shelf, and a small sofa. The only difference is the internal layout and the sofa color, which can be red or black. Visual privacy is provided by the typical folding door, but there is no sound privacy, as you can hear everything from adjacent rooms and the corridor.
  The service takes place with the customer sitting on the sofa and the girl kneeling in front of them, but if desired, positions can be reversed, with the customer standing and the worker sitting while performing the service.
  Base rate: 800 Baht with no fixed time (usually the session ends quickly because regardless of appearance, the girls are quite skilled at their work). – Location:: Sukhumvit 6 Alley, Khlong Toei, Bangkok 10110, Thailand – You can reach Kasalong from Soi 8 (see directions for Lolitas); alternatively, you can reach it via Soi 6, which is an L-shaped street connecting Soi 4 (Soi Nana) to Sukhumvit Road. At the only curve on this street, continue in the direction of Soi 8 (not towards Sukhumvit Road or Soi Nana) and proceed until you reach the square where Kasalong is located. The venue is clearly visible, and there are usually girls in front of the entrance during opening hours. Next to the Kasalong building, there is a pedestrian passage that leads to Soi 8, passing in front of Lolitas.

• DUANGPORN HAVEN – Soi Sukhumvit 16, Asok: a BJ bar/Pump Station that succeeded the well-known Som’s Haven on Soi 14, which closed several years ago. The women’s looks are generally average.
  The venue is relatively large for this type of establishment. It includes a bar with a pool table and a spacious outdoor area facing the street, while blowjob services take place in designated areas upstairs. The rooms have partition walls that do not reach the ceiling, and not all of them are equipped with the usual sink.
  The blowjob is performed on a small sofa or armchair, with the worker positioned in front of the customer between his legs. She may remain topless upon request.
  Basic rate: 800 baht for a 30-minute blowjob.
  An upgrade to “full service” is also available for an additional fee, even in the blowjob booths themselves, although in that case it amounts to a quick encounter on the sofa. Full service in a room with a bed starts from 1,200 baht.
  Although it also functions as a proper bar where customers can spend time with the women and buy them lady drinks, there is no minimum-drink requirement. Most customers simply use the blowjob service and leave without staying for a drink. – Location: 6, 21 Soi Sukhumvit 16, Khlong Toei, Bangkok 10110, Thailandia –
  From the Asok–Sukhumvit intersection, coming from Asok BTS station, keep to the right and take Ratchadaphisek Road. Duangoporn Haven is located approximately 10 metres down the first alley on the right, on the right-hand side. The signs are clearly visible and leave little room for doubt, although they are not particularly noticeable from a distance.

• DOPU – Unfortunately, the building that housed Dopu, Spicy, and several other venues was demolished in 2026, and the businesses consequently ceased operations. Soi Sukhumvit 26 (Phrom Phong): BJ Salon / Pink Salon / Brothel. At DOPU in Bangkok, the best description is probably “mixed platter”: it is not really a Pink Salon or Pump Station, but it is not simply a brothel either. It is a bit of everything and more. The setting is modern and minimalist, clean and comfortable. It can feel a little chaotic when it comes to the girls’ line-up, which is shared with the neighboring SPICY, a venue under the same management but older and originally opened as a massage place, although in practice it offers much the same services. Overall, though, the atmosphere is pleasant and there are some girls with a good level of looks. It is a good option for a BJ, although prices are higher than average. This is partly balanced by the fact that the girl gets completely naked during the service even if you choose a simple blowjob. It is also a very good option for Full Service. The rooms are small, fully enclosed, and well soundproofed, with soft lighting. Privacy is guaranteed, although for the more exhibitionist types—or anyone who enjoys hearing the sounds coming from the girls in the rooms next door—that could actually be considered a downside. Full Service prices—or “Future Sex,” as they call it at DOPU—are in line with the average for “Teen Massage” venues, but without any massage included: just sex. It is located near the beginning of Soi Sukhumvit 26, on the right-hand side when coming from Sukhumvit Road, around a five-minute walk from Phrom Phong BTS station. The venue faces the main street and is easy to spot thanks to the neon signs on the façade next to the entrance.

• SECRET KISS – Soi Sukhumvit 23, Prasan Mit Alley, Asok: a BJ Salon/Pink Salon/brothel that opened in late 2024. The women are generally fairly attractive.
  The venue is air-conditioned, modern, and well furnished, with a small reception area at the entrance and rooms on the upper floors. The rooms are suitably sized for the service, with a minimalist but pleasant design. Technically, the standard rooms are equipped with an armchair, while the VIP rooms have a massage table instead. Some rooms are larger than others, but they are assigned at random.
  The blowjob service is performed either in the armchair or on the massage table, following the customary washing of the customer’s intimate areas in the shower while seated on a specially designed perforated chair. The woman remains topless throughout the service.
  Basic rate: 1,300 baht for a 40-minute blowjob.
  Full service starts at 2,200 baht for 60 minutes.
  The menu includes numerous optional extras that can be added to the standard blowjob service. These include having the worker undress completely for an additional 300 baht, or choosing the “69” option for 600 baht on top of the basic rate. However, given the relatively small price difference compared with full service, this extra does not offer particularly good value.
  There is also an unusual and potentially interesting one-hour “Wash Hair” service, available for an additional 400 baht in a room equipped with a dedicated washing station. In practice, however, it is little more than an extravagant and fairly unnecessary novelty. – Location: 120, 18 Soi Sukhumvit 23, Khlong Toei Nuea, Watthana, Bangkok 10110, Thailand –
  Secret Kiss is located approximately 900 metres by road from Asok BTS station. From Sukhumvit Road, enter Soi Sukhumvit 23 and continue for about 300 metres, then turn right into Prasan Mit Alley.
  Follow the road for approximately 450 metres, crossing the first intersection. After the bend, keep to the left, pass the first side alley, and a little farther ahead you will see the Secret Kiss sign on the pavement at the corner of the second alley.
  Turn left into the alley. The venue is located about ten metres farther along, on the right-hand side. Secret Kiss is very easy to identify, as it is the only pink building in the alley, and its signs are clearly visible, making it virtually impossible to miss.

• THE WORLD ( “The Red Room,” Linda Place, formerly Kob’s Place) – Phatpong 2 Alley (Patpong): A very old-school BJ bar, for those nostalgic for “Thailand as it was twenty years ago. “ The girls’ looks range from terrible to decent (on average, below average). The space is very small, dimly lit, and furnished in an ’80s style—meaning the furniture has been the same for at least forty years. It’s a bar with alcoves that offer very little privacy; for the more shy, there’s also a “mattress area” hidden behind a curtain. There are no additional rooms, and the blowjob takes place in these areas within the main room. Base Rate: Blowjob 800 baht until completion. – “Full Service” available on the mattress for 1,000 baht. – An old-school venue that somehow still hangs on. Dark, dilapidated, hard to find; if there are customers inside, the door is locked, and you have to knock to have it opened if there are workers available. (Not recommended for the faint of heart or those who aren’t “thick-skinned”). – Location: 9, Thanon Patpong 2, Khwaeng Suriya Wong, Bangrak, Krung Thep Maha Nakhon 10120, Thailand

• MAGIC TABLE Soi Sukhumvit 7/1 (Nana): BJ Bar / Pool Bar / Small Brothel with rooms — a bit of everything. Magic Table originally opened many years ago as a BJ Bar with Go-Go-style entertainment and private rooms. Over time, through various ups and downs, it gradually lost its original identity. Although it is still possible to get some privacy with the girls inside the venue, either in a private room or one of the upstairs rooms, it has essentially become a bar where people drink and play pool. The average quality of the girls varies quite a lot. Some are cute, others are very outgoing but less attractive, while a few seem to be there mostly to make up the numbers or are simply a little too old. The venue itself is fairly large and, because of the way it is set up, feels like a cross between a Go-Go Bar, a Beer Bar, and a pool hall. There are two pool tables in the outer area facing Soi 7/1 and another one in the more private indoor section. The bar also has “VIP Rooms” next to the main bar area, offering complete privacy because they are separated from the rest of the venue. There are also several rooms on the upper floors if you decide to go somewhere more private with one or more girls for Full Service. If you choose a VIP Room, for an indicative price of around 1,200 Baht the girl is expected to remain fully naked and a blowjob is included. In theory it is also possible to go further with a good tip, although in that case it is preferable to use one of the upstairs rooms, which have showers and offer complete privacy. In any case, everything depends on the girls, who are free to decide what they are and are not willing to do with customers. They are, of course, also available to accompany you back to your hotel for the right price. Indicative basic rates: 1,200 Baht for a BJ in a private room. Around 3,000 Baht for Short Time Full Service in one of the upstairs rooms. Given the hybrid nature of the venue, prices for the various services can vary and are generally negotiable depending on what you are looking for.The place has seen better days and is often not particularly busy, so the line-up is not exactly the strongest either. Still, some of the girls are quite cute, and if you are walking along Soi 7/1 and spot at least one outside who catches your eye, it is worth stopping in for a look. It is often a good place to go after the other venues have closed, because if there are still customers around, it tends to stay open and lively until dawn. ). Where to Find It: Sukhumvit 7/1 Alley, Khlong Toei Nuea, Watthana, Bangkok 10110, Thailand. Enter Sukhumvit 7/1 Alley (Soi 7/1) and continue for around 70 meters, passing several other venues. Magic Table will be on the right, just before Wood Bar. The place is quite flashy in both layout and colors. You can easily spot the two pool tables facing the street, “Magic Table” is written all over the outside, and the outdoor area is one of the largest on Soi 7/1, so it is practically impossible to miss. If in doubt, and if you are looking for something cheap and quick, Wood Bar is just a little farther along.

• AFTERSKOOL –
  Soi Cowboy, Asok: a go-go bar. The women’s looks are generally in line with the average standard found in Soi Cowboy bars.
  The venue is not particularly large, but it offers a reasonable amount of space and plenty of seating. Since it is essentially a go-go bar, there are no private rooms or bedrooms. The only semi-private area is a corner with a low partition that blocks the view from the waist down.
  The basic offer is a handjob, although it is generally also possible to receive a blowjob. Both services can be performed discreetly in the so-called “Naughty Boy Corner,” or elsewhere inside the bar. In the latter case, other women may gather around to form a kind of human screen, partially concealing the colleague providing the service.
  Basic rate: if the blowjob takes place in the designated screened-off corner, the expected tip ranges from 600 to 1,000 baht, in addition to lady drinks. If it is provided elsewhere in the bar and other women have to act as a human shield, it is considered good etiquette to buy them a lady drink as well for their assistance.
  In addition to oral or manual services inside the venue, customers can also pay a bar fine to take one of the women back to their accommodation for other services, as is common in Thai go-go bars.
  – Location: Soi Cowboy, Khlong Toei Nuea, Watthana, Bangkok 10110, Thailandia –
  Soi Cowboy is easy to find, and virtually anyone in the area can point you in the right direction. Afterskool is located roughly halfway along Soi Cowboy and is clearly signposted.
  Should you decide to visit for an unconventional experience, the venue is virtually impossible to miss. However, if your main objective is to receive a blowjob, this is probably the least suitable option for that particular service among the establishments listed.

Of course, it’s quite easy to get a blowjob when you regularly frequent workers at every level (for example, it’s not impossible to arrange a quick service with some girls from certain pool bars in the bathroom). It’s also true that the various massage places scattered around the city are a valid alternative to pump stations, especially when it comes to a simple blowjob as a happy ending after a massage.
However, these places specialized in the ancient “Art of the Blowjob” always have a special charm. Now that you know what BJ Bars are and where to find them, you have no excuse not to check them out.
