Venue: AngelWitch is located on the first floor (or middle level, if you prefer) of Nana Plaza and is easily recognizable by its sign featuring the logo of an angelic witch flying on a broomstick. The predominant colors are red and black, from the signs to the furnishings, both outside and inside. AngelWitch is neither particularly large nor small, falling somewhere in the middle in terms of size. Although it is nowhere near as huge as giants like Billboard or Butterflies, it still has two tiered seating sections, each with three rows of sofas extending along the entire length of the stage and runway, which runs from the entrance all the way to the bar at the back of the room. The mirrors on the walls also help make the place look bigger than it actually is. The overall atmosphere is less nightclub-like than in other Go-Go Bars, and the music is predominantly Rock and Metal. This is one of AngelWitch’s distinctive features, along with its numerous stage shows and choreographed performances, which take place regularly throughout the evening. These performances help break up the monotony of watching bored girls standing around on stage, as often happens in other venues. The seating sections are not excessively illuminated, which is a good thing because it allows for greater privacy and more fun with the girls. The stage, on the other hand, is always clearly visible from both sides of the room. Although there are a few stools scattered around, the main floor area is practically nonexistent. Since it is not particularly wide, it mainly serves as a passageway around the stage. Nevertheless, seating is plentiful and reasonably comfortable. To the right of the entrance, on a raised platform, is the DJ booth. At the opposite corner, at the back of the room, you will find the toilets and the entrance to the girls’ changing rooms. Overall, it is a simple venue without too many frills, but enjoyable and with a slightly different atmosphere from the usual Go-Go Bars.
Girls: The quality of the girls varies quite a lot. On average, there are not many stunning beauties, but you can often find a few little gems among the newcomers, who tend to be relatively young and still fairly new to the business. The only downside is that they often speak very little English, so they are not necessarily the best choice if you are looking for someone to keep you company throughout the evening. However, they can be very satisfying for a Short Time. There are also some regular girls who, although not as physically attractive as some of the newcomers, can be pleasant and satisfying company back at your hotel, as well as great fun if you feel like playing around and spending the evening at AngelWitch. In terms of numbers, you can generally expect around 15 to 20 girls at the venue, although there may be more or fewer depending on the day.

Notes: AngelWitch is one of the oldest Go-Go Bars in Nana Plaza. It was once considered the absolute best, with a line-up of girls that would make your head spin. Combined with its distinctive rock-themed atmosphere, this proved to be a winning formula. Over time, with the arrival of larger, trendier Go-Go Bars featuring impressive selections of girls and more luxurious interiors, AngelWitch gradually lost its shine, becoming almost a historical relic in the great playground of Nana Plaza. Until 2019, despite having been nicknamed “The Little Dive” by some Travelers because of its darker and less modern atmosphere compared with other venues, it was still a good option when it came to the girls, with plenty to choose from. Then came the Covid shutdowns, which dealt it another major blow, and nowadays it is certainly no longer among the top venues. Nevertheless, for anyone who wants to spend some time listening to something different from the usual “thump thump thump” while also enjoying the little stage shows (sometimes cute or even exciting, other times ridiculous, and at other moments, just plain fun)AngelWitch, or “The Little Dive,” is still a fun place to pop into for a look around, and perhaps find an unexpected little gem to take back to your hotel after enjoying a beer at your leisure while listening to Nirvana, Kiss, AC/DC, Black Sabbath, and other rock legends selected by that crazy DJ who has practically become part of the furniture. At least he has good taste in music.
In Short: When you visit Nana Plaza, stop outside AngelWitch and take a look around the entrance, or even peek through the curtains. If you see something that catches your eye, go in and sit down for a beer. Otherwise, keep walking to the next Go-Go Bar and try again the following evening. But sooner or later, you really should go inside, because despite everything, AngelWitch is truly one of a kind. ^^
