Venue: Located in a modest villa, just 200 meters from the Perla Casino and 2 kilometers from the Italian border, this club has undergone various internal renovations over the years, including upgrades to the rooms and outdoor area. Despite being relatively simple, the environment is well-kept and charming. Inside, there is a bar, various lounging areas with sofas, and a wellness section featuring a jacuzzi and saunas, in addition to a cozy outdoor pool area with a small garden, sunbeds, and other small comforts.
The rooms are basic but tidy, with one on the ground floor and the others on the first floor. As expected, there are also showers, lockers, and changing rooms (used by both male clients and the girls). The usual sauna club kit (towel, bathrobe, and slippers) is provided, and of course, there is the standard buffet corner available for guests.
Girls: Less than a dozen, of various backgrounds (with a certain Ukrainian quota always present). The girls come mostly from Eastern Europe and the Balkans, but unlike its competitors, it seems that Margerita has not yet been hit by the classic “Count Dracula syndrome,” i.e., the presence of Romanian girls is not overpowering; this does not mean that the quality of the operators is superior, but at least there is a slightly different atmosphere from the usual gatherings of young draculines typical of other clubs. The Venue tends to emphasize the fact that the young ladies are guests on a par with the male customers and not their employees or affiliates; this implies some flexibility in attendance, but also in the prices and services offered. However, on average it is possible to have fun with a few, although aesthetically the line-up leaves something to be desired, especially for those looking for a bit of Freshness in the ladies, in fact the average age of the operators is over 30, in some cases well brought up, in others less so.
Prices: Entrance 70€ – Standard half-hour: 70€ – Miscellaneous: Technically it is allowed to start “foreplay” even in the hot tub, usually with an extra charge. However, the rates and services offered may vary from one girl to another so it is always best to ask the direct concerned from time to time. Opening hours: 14:00 to 24:00 ( Friday and Saturday closes at 02:00 ).
Restaurant/Bar: Buffet food, not comparable to the good food of other larger, more sumptuous Sauna-Clubs but something to eat can be found. Non-alcoholic drinks included, alcohol instead is charged but prices are more truck stop than nightclub.
Note: Margerita Club is certainly not a new addition to the border “Men’s Club” scene; in fact, it is one of the oldest and most well-known clubs for seasoned punters and gamblers who frequent the nearby Perla Casino. The last official reopening took place in November 2015 when, under new management, the small Margerita Club somehow rose from its ashes. The idea was good, the club is fairly well-known in the industry, and its location is easily accessible. The entrance fee is competitive, and the venue is quite pleasant, although not very large.
Of course, the Margerita had to contend with the now-defunct Marina Sauna Club, which was of a significantly higher category. For just thirty euros more in entry fee, it offered a much better experience just a few kilometers away. The only strong advantage the Margerita had, besides the aforementioned low-cost entry and a more relaxed environment, was and still is the presence of Ukrainian and other professional girls instead of the usual Romanian “draculine”.
The reopening wasn’t exactly smooth — the planned opening on November 19 had to be postponed a couple of times until the end of the month. However, today, while the club is not comparable to larger competitors, it does have its merits. The girls’ performances are generally good and, overall, suitable for the price of 70 Euros for half an hour of “games”. It’s worth noting that among the girls, there are a couple of real gems, but they are often “booked” full-time by loyal clients, and other customers often find themselves watching them from afar or not seeing them at all during the day if they are busy.
After
Over the years, Margerita Club has managed to survive even the pandemic and carved out a small niche of clientele by focusing on its few clear advantages: great location, a variety of girls (though few in total), and the fact that the club is small, which translates into a more relaxed atmosphere and probably fewer “rivals”. In fact, prostitution in Slovenia is not as tightly regulated as in neighboring Austria, so this small club might suddenly face the same fate as the excellent and never-forgotten Marina Club. According to many nostalgic ex-clients (myself included), if the Marina were to reopen tomorrow, it would already have a line outside — but that’s a whole other story.
In a nutshell: Margerita is a small venue located very close to the Italian border, ideal for spending a few hours relaxing or enjoying the company of the few girls available, hoping to find one that suits your preferences. However, if you’re looking for something more substantial, there are definitely better options just an hour’s drive away.
