LANGUAGE: Portuguese (The language commonly spoken in Brazil is essentially Portuguese influenced by a multitude of different dialects).

CURRENCY: Brazilian Real ( BRL ) ( R$ )

DOCUMENTS: The bureaucratic procedures to enter Brazil are very simple for Italian citizens. It is not necessary to apply for a visa before departure; it is sufficient to present a passport with at least six months of validity remaining and a round-trip ticket upon entry to stay in Brazil for business or tourism without a visa for up to 90 days. However, a visa is required for those who wish to enter and stay in Brazil for work or study purposes. According to reciprocity agreements, Italian citizens are exempt from a visa for a maximum total period of 90 days within a 180-day timeframe.

CLIMATE: Although most of the country has a tropical climate, Brazil’s rich and varied topography results in a wide range of weather conditions that create diverse environments. In the north, temperatures are high year-round with abundant rainfall, except for the northeastern region where temperatures are high but rainfall is scarce, resulting in a semi-arid climate.
Along the southern coastal strip, temperatures are relatively warm, winters are mild, and rainfall is generally low. The central-eastern plateaus have a subtropical climate with temperatures that vary according to altitude, and dry periods are frequent here. The southwestern part of the plateaus experiences heavy rainfall, while the southeastern area has a very variable climate.
The Amazon rainforest has a humid equatorial climate and is considered one of the rainiest areas on the planet. The Mato Grosso region experiences temperatures between 27 and 32 degrees Celsius. The central zone has a tropical climate characterized by dry winters and extremely rainy summers.
Regions south of the Tropic of Capricorn have a temperate climate, with well-defined seasonal temperature differences. Here, the average annual temperature does not exceed 18°C, and although snowfall is very rare, nighttime frosts are common during the coldest months.

BRAZIL: A huge country that offers everything and more, both good and bad. Beautiful women of various ethnicities and backgrounds, delicious food, affordable prices, breathtaking landscapes, unforgettable beaches, samba, bustling metropolises like Rio and São Paulo, Carnival, football everywhere, rainforests, fascinating customs and culture, colors, music, joy, and unique atmospheres.
But it is also the country of favelas, street thieves, and a huge gap between poverty and wealth. Still, if those who have been there always want to return, there must be a reason…

FOR MEN: Rio De Janeiro, San Paolo, Recife, Fortaleza, Joao Pessoa, Bélem.

NOTE: Brazil is one of the most sought-after and recurring destinations for moderately adventurous travelers and, of course, for those looking for a vacation also surrounded by beautiful women. One characteristic aspect of this country is the relative lack of safety, especially on the streets. There are tourist areas that are heavily monitored by law enforcement and therefore safer, but for those who want to travel independently and visit perhaps “less conventional” places, the advice is always the same: Don’t dress up too much, don’t flaunt wealth, don’t trust strangers too easily, and above all… Keep your eyes wide open, always.
Other than that, Brazil undoubtedly offers endless opportunities for fun and adventure, just use some common sense and preferably at least a basic knowledge of Portuguese.
